ABVP Destroys Students Power: CFI
 

01.03.10 : The Campus Front of India (CFI) staged a protest against the Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) at Nehru Maidan on March 1, Monday. 

 The protest was conducted against ABVP for protesting against Pattabhirama Somayaji, who supported the ban on cow slaughter.

Speaking on the recent boycott of classes by the students of University College, Nasir Mulky, vice President of the Campus Front of India said that the students were under the influence of government missionaries, because of which they were dragged out of the classrooms and forced to boycott classes.

The lecturer was attacked on the freedom of speech granted by the constitutions, he urged. He also alleged that the government is trying to push the students to organize protests and support at the back stage. 
Mohammed Shakir, the Karnataka State General Secretary, ABVP, which is considered to be the power of the students, is now breaking the power of the students. He assured that the Campus Front of India has been established to give back students their power. 

Thousif Ahmed, the president of the Campus Front of India, Mangalore, and Harsharaj Gatty, the general secretary of PUCL, also participated in the protest.
