Government ITI completes 25 years

01.03.10  :  The Golden Jubilee of Government Industrial Training Institute, Kadri Hills, was celebrated on Feb 28, Sunday. 

The State Labour Minister B N Bache Gowda  inaugurated the foundation stone laying ceremony of the COE Block of the ITI. The financial assistance for this Rs 85-lakh project is being provided by the World Bank. 

He spoke about the significant role of  industries required for the development of the country. Later, he visited the “Do It Yourself” gallery, where prototypes of various operational systems in electrical, mechanical, and automobile engineering and telecommunications were displayed. Part of it comprised embroidery and artwork contributed by women. 

The minister also interacted with the students and expressed his appreciation for their knowledge, skills, and intelligence.
