Devotees must follow all rituals : Vishakam Thirunal Ramavarma Raja

02.5.10 Mangalore : The Ayyappa Seva Sangham was established by two people
with the purpose to serve the devotees of Lord Ayyappa Swamy, said Vishakam
Thirunal Ramavarma Raja, president of Pandalam Palace Committee, speaking
after inaugurating the State Conference organized by Akhila Bharatha Ayyappa
Seva Sangham at Town Hall, Mangalore on May 2, Sunday.
He also said that, there are several instances where the devotees on way to
Shabarimala, breathe their last due to ill health, heart attack or stampede.

The association has worked to provide the drinking water facilities and
sanitary facilities to the devotees on way to pilgrimage. They also try to
educate the devotees in matter of rules to be followed during ‘Vratham’, he
added.
Most of the times the VIP’s or celebrities reach the pilgrimage without
following any rules and rituals and start carrying loads on head just from
