Popular Front of India holds a protest meeting against Israeli massacre of Gaza Muslims.

02.06.10 : The PFI led a huge protest meeting near the DCO gates on June 2 at 5Pm, condemning the Israeli wanton killing of 20 volunteers carrying food and medicine to the people of Gaza strip (Arabs) who were on an economic blockade and suffering from hunger and disease. The barbarous and violent mass murder incident from Israeli commandoes took place in international waters of the Mediterranean Sea, while carrying relief materials to the captive and innocent Arab nationals of Palestine.

Speaking on the occasion, Pattabhirama Somayaji of Human Rights Protection Action Committee blamed the American government for the massacre in which many more were brutally injured. America was behind the Israeli plot of denying food and medicines to poor citizens. Israeli is a small nation but America protects it in every way of its imperialism. Ever since the end of second World War (1945) America has promoted Wars against Arab nations and created Israeli (1948) and is protecting its existences against all hazards and moral rules, Somayaji told his listeners.

Abdul Razak, member of Puttur PFI in his address to the gathering, described how America helped Israeli to loot Arab areas in Palestine and neighboring countries and to follow a murderous policy against Palestine citizens – men, women and children in large numbers every now and then, by raining bombs on Gaza and other Arab areas want only. Israeli terrorism has brought grief on schools, hospitals and homes of the hapless Arabs. UN-appointed Goldstein committee has reported the Israeli attack on a ship as an uncivilized crime on humanity in the name of war.

Shafi Bellare (Sullia PFI secretary), Hyder Neersall (Puttur PFI chief), Mohd. Kekkanje (secretary, K.S. Vedike), Suresh Bhat Bakrabail, were present.

Mohd. Sherif of Mangalore PFI welcomed the gathering, while Saleem compered the entire meeting , and D.N. Hanif thanked.
