A Mad Mudhuri in Jail!

She was IFS and 53, a second secretary in Pakistan for the Indian embassy. She had gone round the world in her career, and was nearing retirement. She needed easy money, before opting to retire what else. She was in Pakistan as a friend in diplomacy. Then, she began selling Indian secrets to Pak ISI and govt. boys in Islamabad. She did this heinous act, of going against one’s own country, for 2 years. No, she did not marry a Pakistani to suggest all this rubbish. But she helped the Pak diplomats in alien Islamabad, like an “Unofficial hot line” in action, with smiles and guiles. But a poor girl of 53, she did not know that she was in a larger net of Indian intelligence, and men from RAW who worked in Pakistan like her, but not against India.

So Madhuri Gupta (that is her name, but she is not an actress) carried on her affairs in diplomacy, to sell her large country to a small Muslim country in the neighbour- hood, for money, crisp notes at that, fake or real, one cannot imagine. Mad Madhuri was thriving on her cleverness too much when some-body in New Delhi put his hand on her tender shoulder and shocked her! She was called out of Pakistan to Delhi, seemingly to work in Bhutan during a SAARC conference, and was jailed, when she went to the External Affairs ministry headed by S.M. Krishna. Brickbats are now thrown at her as a Traitor and as Merchant of Islamabad with ISI. Madhuri Gupta has to cough it all in her trial and enquiry sessions, away from Bhutan and in Secretariat Blocks (North / South) in hot, steamy Delhi weather! A woman can cheat a nation if sting workers do not catch her.

In the meantime in a letter to D.K- DC V. Ponnuraj, Vishwa Hindu Parishat has asked the government to take stern action against the culprit, Madhuri Gupta for her treachery to the country.
