Unidentified miscreants attack bus driver at Surathkal

04.05.10 Mangalore :  The unidentified miscreants attacked a city bus driver with a sword at Shibarur near Suratkal, and escaped in the motarbike on , May 3, Monday at at 8:45 p.m.

According to the eyewitness, victim Riyaz (22), who works as a bus driver was attacked by some unknown miscreants with a sword at Shibarur, when he was trying to start unmoved the bus for the trip back to Mangalore. Hence, the driver, requested the cleaner Rahul (18) to check the fault in the bus. When the cleaner out of the bus, he was detained by two unknown persons. At the same time, other two people got into the bus and attacked the driver with a sword. They the miscreants escaped on motorbikes. 

The driver was latyer taken to AJ Hospital via ambulance. The doctors say that the victim is in critical condiction but out of danger. Superintendent of Police in Charge Ramesh visited the hospital. The Suratkal police have registered a case.
