World Investors Meet (WIM) opens: New horizons.

04.06.10 Bangalore : Far beyond the expectations of the Karnataka state
organizers and leaders, the WIM has been assured of a capital flow of over
Rs. 4 Lakhs crores in investments to create 5 Lakh jobs all over the state
when the emphasis of work spots is not around Bangalore but all over 30
districts. The CM was on record telling the opening session of distinguished
industrialists, manufacturers and businessmen that the Red Tape had been
replaced by a Red Carpet for capital flow and enterprises countless. He
presided over the inaugural session of the Great Indian Meet on investments
and business. A team of ministers and officials is being formed to take
quick decisions and make use of the momentum created out of over 400
agreements for inflow of Rs, 6.5 Lakhs employment chances CM added.
Inaugurating the Investors Meet, the Lok Sabha leader of the opposition,
Arun Jaitley stated that capital flowing into Karnataka would remove local
poverty of the people in many ways.
Over 205 large plans were welcomed and agreements concluded as on Friday
(June 4). More are in the offing by the time the Meet concludes.
