Mayor releases Representatives Coupon at women’s organization meeting

05.03.10 : The Dakshina Kannada District Kannada Sahitya Sammelana Women’s Organization meeting was held at Shri Dharmastala Manjunatheshwara College, Mangalore on March 5, Friday.

Mayor Rajani Dugganna presided over the function and released the representative coupons.

Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, the president of the Kannada Sahitya Parishat said that the peoples love and affection towards the English language has ironically provided an opportunity to conduct DK District Kannada Sahitya Sammelana to know more about Kannada language and its value among the people.

He also said that If women’s organizations support this programme, it will be more glorious than ever.
Though the pizzas culture is rapidly spreading throughout the district, our culture must not lag behind Instead, our culture must blend with it, he added.

Vijayalakshmi Shetty, welcomed the gathering.

Dr K Devraj, principal, SDM  College of Business Mangaement, Ganesh Amin Sankamara and Sarvotham Anchan were present on the occasion.
