Beach Utsav from Feb 6.

Integral part of Karavali Utsav, Beach Utsav will be held from today..The
three-day event will feature sports, kite flying demonstration, religious
satsang, food festival, cultural competition and a musical evening by Kunal
Ganjawala. Sameer Shukla, commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation and chairman
of the Beach Utsav committee, told that the food festival which will kick off on
Friday will give people a taste of the traditionallocal dishes. Art of Living
will conduct a satsang programme on Panambur beachon Sunday.

Get ready for another round of the beach festival
with beach volleyball, beach throw ball and the regular kite-flying
competitions. In addition, you have beach cricket too. Music buffs can look
forward to a session by singer Kunal Ganjawala. Organised as part of the ongoing
Karavali Utsav, this year’s Beach Utsav is being held at Panambur beach here for
three days from Friday. Cuisine from the coastal belt and special ice-creams
will be available at the food festival. Beach volleyball and throw ball
competitions will be held at 8 a.m., and in the evening, kite enthusiasts will
vie with one another to reach the skies with their creations. It will be
followed by a dance competition.
