Hindu Janajagruthi Samiti staged protest against Goa Government

06.04.10 Mangalore : Hindu Janajagruthi Samiti of Mangalore Unit staged
protest demanding withdraw a chapter case filed against Dr Jayant Athavale,
founder of ‘Sanatana Samste’ by the Goa policemen, in front of the DC office
on April 6.
The rally was held from Jyothi circle to DC office, before the commencement
of protest.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri Yogananda Saraswati of Nityananda Yogashrama,
Kondevur, said that the Hindu religion is being attacked from before to the
present day.

He said, the Congress government in Goa is trying to ban Sanathana
organization on the pretext of Madgaon blast, occurred last year. As soon
after the blast the Goa police have lodged a complaint against the Swamiji,
alleging his direct involvement in disturbing the Social peace.
Sanathana Ashrama in Goa is under the attack, since 90 days. Goa police
neglected to receive the complaint lodged by Sanathana followers.
He also urged police to take out a false case filed against the Swamiji and
requested government to take action against police, for thier refusal to
receive a petition from Sanathana organization.

Mangalore Leader of Havyaka Mandali, M.B. Muliya Leader of Havyaka Mandali,
J.T Rajaram Bhat, Ravindra Kamath Hindu Jana Jagruti Samiti, Rambhat Sullia,
Ramesh Nayak Hindu Jana Jagruti Samiti Central were participated in the
protest.
Poovappa delivered an introductory speech. Aravind Kamath, activist of Hindu
Janajagruthi Samiti and G K Bhat were present.
Later the organization burnt the Image of Goa Home Minister Ravinayak and
concluded the protest.
