MIFT displays 90 Designs at Fashion Show
06.04.10 : Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology
celebrated its Annual Day and organised the Fashion Show at Town Hall on
April 5, Monday.
MLA U T Khader inaugurated the event on the occasion.
Pushparaj Shetty presided over the function.
The fashion show was done in three rounds. In the first
round 7 contestants presented various Themes like peacock by Medha, wheras
Chithra with Royal Enfield, Ria with Flowers, Anseera with crawling
creations, Prabha with Compationatine Angle and Ashwathi with Rebirth of
Dissolute things (wastage).
In the 2nd round Nusaibha with the variety of leaves,
Pruthvi Raj with Playing cards, Shruti with Mirror, Vibin with Amulya
Desert, Rohith with Zodiac and Seema with Pracious Stone ( Navaratna).
In the third and final round 3rd Round, Jeena with
Animal motif, Jaison withPenguin, Ashwini and Sunil with pleats and Bee
hive, Pavithra with Pearls, Deepika with Roses, Jno with Sun and Arpitha
with Ocean.
Around 90 Designs were presented in the show.
Balakrishna Shetty was the chief guest on the occasion.
Prasad Rao, Purandar Principal and M.G hedge were present on the occasion.
