Mangalore MP behind Padil’s Railway underbridge

 

07.05.10 Mangalore : A Press release from Nalin Kumar Kateel ( Mangalore MP) today reveeled that the Padil Railway underbridge Project has been Sanetioned as in 2009-10, at a coast of Rs.3.58 crores, of which Rs.1.79 crores will be borne by the Indian Railways department, according to a reply in Lok Sabha recently by Minister K.H. Muniappa to the local M.P. The balance 50% cost will be paid by MCC under a plan to be finalised with city corporation soon.

To another question raised by the same MP, in Lok Sabha on forest lands, Union minister for Environments, Jairam Ramesh has replied that the 1980 Act on Forest areas conservation, looks after the small public works such as minor roads, drainage and dam constructions in forest regions.
