inaugurated

08.05.10
Mangalore : The Sagar Group of Hotels from Delhi has opened a 3-star hotel
“Ocean Pearl” on Friday, when the Udupi Pejawar Math seer, Vishwesha Tirtha
Swamiji, inaugurated the gorgeous building on Kodialbail (Ram Bhavan) circle
by lighting the traditional lamp and blessed the owners.
Swamiji in
his benediction talk on the occasion praised the owner Jayarama Banan, who
has 14 hotels in India and abroad in possession, as a person who had
positive thinking with solid hard work, and realised the need to combine the
religious belief (Dharma) with socialistic welfare objectives, He insisted
upon every local entrepreneur in business these days, having single-minded
persistence with devotion and steady labour, to achieve the common welfare
of all members in society. Industrial and entrepreneurial persons should
involve themselves largely in religious and social benefit services alike,
much like the present example set forth by Sagar Group Owner, Jayaram Banan.
He has returned to the human society a major part of his earnings from
various activities in the hospitality front, and his attitude is worthy of
follow-up by others in business, the Udupi Guru added.

The
Mathadhipathi of Subrahmanya monastery, Vidya Prasanna, was present. In his
speech, the Subrahamanya seer laid emphasis on longer vision, values,
courage and a definite goal to achieve success, surmounting problems on the
way.
The Banan
couple was honoured on the occasion by the two Gurus. Roshan Banan, son of
the Couple and director K.S. Bhat were present.
In the press
conference arranged later, Banan explained that a world class hotel has
arrived in Mangalore, serving pure vegetarian food of excellence, from the
Sagar Ratna Group of Delhi. It promises a rich living experience with a
reasonable pricing list attached to it for customers who care and choose the
best food in the Sagar’s Ocean Pearl restaurant. Accommodation is also
available for tourists, both Indian and foreign.
Vikas
Srivastava welcomed and conducted the press conference proceedings, while
P.C. Roy referred to the history in the making at the Ocean Pearl. K.
Sadashiv Bhat, director and Jayaram Banan were present on the occasion.
