Rowdies Rounded up

08.05.10 Mangalore : Two rowdies plotting to kill a person on the instructions of criminal V. Korga Shetty were apprehended by the DK police on May 7 at Manipal.

William D’Souza from Attur and Kishen Hegde from Inna (near Padubidri) had designed to kill Jagdish Poojary alias Sanoor Jagga based  in Karkala, but under DSP Pravin Pawar, Dy SP Jayant Shetty stopped the two rowdies, in their sinister attempts.

D’Souza has previous criminal charge of assault, under rural Karkala police made against one Laxman Poojary. He had elaborately planned to  murder Jagdish this time. An attempt to attack Jagga with swords in April did not materialize. A criminal case has been registered against the duo by Manipal Police station.
