Palemar inaugurates MangaloreOne centres at MCC

09.06.10 Mangalore : The MangaloreOne Project which is being conceptualized
to deliver the services on ‘One Stop Shop’ concept was inaugurated by
District in charge minister Krishna J Palemar at Mangalore City Corporation
on June 9, Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Palemar said that, services of multiple Government
and Private companies will be delivered under a single roof. Mangalore was
always at number one position from beginning, he added.

Honourable minister for Urban Development Suresh Kumar said that, he has
already visited two cities for the inaugural of centers and this is the
third place. Further Mangalore must stand to first place in the service.
He also said that the he had attended the conference on good governance in
Bombay, further Mangalore must go for better governance. Mangalore has also
become the centre of attraction in state.

MM Vidyashankar, secretary of e-governance said that, the service of
e-governance has earlier started as Bangalore one, Mysore one and Tumkur one
and now completed the service for the Mangalorean as Mangaloreone.
The MangaloreOne centres will start delivering services of Electricity Bill
Payment, Cellone Mobile Bill Payment and sale of Passport Applications from
the day of inauguration by investing the amount of Rs 85 lakhs for the
project.
Dr KN Vijayaprakash, MCC Commissioner welcomed the gathering. Dr Ravindran
proposed vote of thanks. MLA Yogish Bhat, presided over the function.
State Home mnister Dr V S Acharya, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, Mayor Rajani
Dugganna, Deputy Mayor Rajendra Kumar, DC V Ponnuraj were present on the
occasion.
