Mayor Inaugurates Weightlifting Competition

11.03.10 Mangalore : The students are lucky to get opportunity in various sports field, said Mayor Rajani Duganna, speaking after inaugurating the two day Inter Collegiate Power Lifting competition for men and women at Shree Gokarnatheswara college Mangalore on Thursday, March 11.

She also said that the students of past were lacking opportunity in sports. But the institution and government at present day provide good opportunities and facilities.

B Devadas, President, Shree Venkatesha Shiva Bhakti yoga Sangha,  R H Nagalingappa director of physical education, Mangalore  University, and Nagar Narayan Shenoy, advocate Mangalore, were present on the occasion.
