BJP will win majority of the seats, Yadiyurappa

11-04-09 Chief Minister B.S Yadiyurappa visited Mangalore on April 10, 2009 in the evening. Yadiyurappa in the press meet said that “I am being complained that I have violated the election code, but I am sure that I have not done anything beyond the election limits. These are often pointed by Bangarappa from the Congress and Kumara Swamy from JDS”. He also said that BJP will win 23 seats in the state. He visited Mangalore after attending the campaign  of K.Surendra in Kasaragod.

The state government has initiated development plans . The expenditure plan is increased to  22% in 2008-09 and non expenditure plan is increased  to  4%. Revenue has  grown to  Rs 27,614  crores which  is a 6.3 %  increase from last time, said Mr. Yadiyurappa.

 ‘With BJP winning the majority of seats, other parties a will learn a lesson.  Five former chief ministers from the state are in the electoral fray. Voters will send them home.” he said.

Yediyurappa also visited Polai temple and actively participated in the ongoing festival. Thousands of people gathered to look a site of Yadiyurappa.
