Practice against child labour reflected through Demonstration

11.06.10 Mangalore : The Students Islamic Organization of India (SIO) of Mangalore zone staged a demonstration as part of its annual education awareness campaign in front of Masjid Noor on June 11, Friday.

A large number of activists stood in front of mosque for about 20 minutes.

The demonstrators displayed the placards with the slogans like “eliminate the practice of child labour”, “Children are not your servants”, “education is the birth right of every child” and “child labour is a crime”. The slogans displayed in the placard itself made the audience understand the aim of the demo. 

The demonstration which was held against practice of child labour and the violation of children’s rights reflected in few minutes’ silent demonstration.
