12.05.10 Mangalore : Mohamed Ali (52), son of late T.M. Ibrahim, living in Balmatta at the back of Walet Complex has complained to the Mangalore East police station on Wednesday (May 12) that an amount of Rs.25 lakhs given to Ali’s wife Naseema on May 11 at noon by one Mohd. Kunhi, to be handed over to a youth called Danish (Ali’s nephew) coming from Kasaragod was lost. Danish came in an Innova car (KL 14E 7499) to Ali’s house at 1-30 P.M on May 11, and took away the money from Naseema, but did not go to PWD office in Mangalore to meet Mohd. Kunhi and hand over the money to Kunhi as instructed, on the same day. He disappeared with money and after 3 hours, tried to buy a sim for his mobile at phone at Manipal and again, did not meet Kunhi but disappeared.

He was not traced in Manipal or Mangalore. A case has been registered (no.70/2010) by Ali that Danish was missing. The public is requested to assist the police to trace out Danish and phone up Mangalore East Police Station, in case there are clues leading to the capture of Danish (21), male, fair, speaking Malayalam and English and wearing black T-shirt and blue pants.
