An oath to fight against terrorism

13-01-09 A rally was organized by the Akhila Bharata Vidyarthi Parishat (ABVP) to unite all the people of the locality and fight against terrorism. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar guruji inaugurated the ‘Anti-terrorism awareness campaign for students’. Guruji said Pakistan once domesticated terrorism to bite India but today, it is suffering due to the same mad dog and the intention of General Zia-Ul-Haq of bleeding India with a thousand cut seems to be rebounding on Pakistan itself. On this occasion over 20,000 people took an oath to put down terrorism and help the country to fight terrorism. The function was arranged on account of Swami Vivekananda’s birthday to gather all the students of the college.  

 Nearly thousands of students gathered in the Nehru maidan with dedication and love towards their nation. The mass also contained the NCC cadets. M.K. Suvrath, J. Krishna Palemar, N.Yogish Bhat, U.T.Khadar, Mayor Ganesh Hosabettu, K.V. Kodhanda Ramayya, B. Nagaraj Shetty, K.P. Sucharita Shetty were also present in the function.
