Hartalu Halappa reported sick: To be shunted to Bangalore Hospital today

13.02.10 Bangalore : Former minister Hartalu Halappa is moving out of Mc Gann hospital in Shimoga to a higher level Hospital in Bangalore under city court orders on May 13, on health grounds, in view of multi-nature diseases complaint made by local doctors. He has asthma and chest pain etc. and needed intense higher medical care, the court (JMFC) agreed. Halappa is in the jail ward (for judicial custody of 15 days) at the Mc Gann hospital now. The district surgeon Mahadevappa has argued for his transfer to a Bangalore hospital to treat hypertension and rising blood sugar levels.

Halappa has to report to the JMFC on May 24. He has completely denied any crime, but his friend Venkatesh Murthy has a video tape as on Nov 26/27 in 2009 on Halappa’s movements in Murthy’s house.

The question still remains, who is behind the “never too late” rape complaint made to DGP/IGP in Bangalore on May 4?
