Tulu Koota Kudla organises ‘Bisu Parba’

15.04.10 Mangalore : The Tulu Koota Kudla organized the event ‘Bisu Parba’ to celebrate the fest ofTulunad at Sharadha Sadan of Ganapathi High School on April 14, Wednesday.

Speaking after inaugurating the event, K K Pejawar, principal, Canara High School, said that, earlier all the festivals were celebrated grandly, but now due to the work pressure and lack of time, it is being ignored.

He also said that, the celebration of festival must come within the people and not be celebrated forcefully.

Later Puthige Padmanabha Rai of Manipal, Jnaneshwari S Joshi of Puttur and Catherin Rodrigues of Katapady were conferred with the Dharmastala Ratnavarma Heggade Award 2009 for their achievement in the field of play.

Ranavathi G Baikady and her daughter Akshatha Baikady rendered invocation. Sashidhar Shetty welcomed the gathering.

Chandrashekar Shetty, Bhaskar Barkhe, Umesh Rao Ekkaru and Damodhar Nisarga were present on the dais.
