2 Injured in aTipper-Car Accident on Ullal Bridge 

17.03.10 Mangalore : An accident took place between a tipper lorry and a car, on the bridge over the Netravathi River near Ullal injuring two person  on Tuesday March 16.

After the accident , both vehicles stayed on the bridge after the collision. 

The Negligence of a tipper lorry driver sarry sand led to an accident.  The lorry collided with a car traveling towards the city from Kasargod. Later two present in the car were admitted to hospital with minor injuries.

According to the eyewitness the lorry driver was trying to overtake another lorry on the bridge, and was unaware of the car which was also speeding.

This accident caused a traffic block on the bridge for a long hours. The sand in the tipper fell on the road and the path and took about one hour to clear it. Ullal police registered a case in this regard.
