Children participate at Ice cream eating competition

17.05.10 Mangalore :  The Junior Chamber International (JCI), Mangalore in association with the Dinky Ice cream, organized ‘JC-Dinky’, an ice cream eating competition for children at Kadri Park, Mangalore on Sunday, May 16.

Addressing the gathering, Suvarna Chandra, Proprietor of Dinky Ice creams said that the program has been conducted just for the children during the summer holidays, without having any commercial purposes.

Above 250 children participated in the event. The competitions were held in two categories, one for children belonging to the age group age 6 to 9 and the other from 9 to 12.

Jagadish Bangera, President of JCI, Mangalore welcomed the gathering. The Project Director,  Jc.  Binoy, Coordinator Santhosh D’mello, JCI secretary Naveen Chandra, Secretary and others were present.
