CPC Seemanth Kumar Singh at Sharada Vidyalaya: Inaugurates students’ Union

17.06.10 Mangalore : The Mangalore City Police Commissioner (CPC) and DIG, Seemanth Kumar Singh, inaugurated the students Union of Sharada Vidyalaya by lighting a lamp at noon on June 17 in the school arena.

Singh appreciated the educational standards maintained by the Sharada School and the merit levels attained by the students in recent years. He wanted them to join the police forces once they completed their studies, looking for career / employment in the broad world. He also advised those students who won the Parishat (union) elections to maintain high standards of conduct, thereby becoming role models to junior students.

Present leader Akash Bolar took the oath on behalf of fellow students as their Union President. Other office bearers followed, with oaths administered to them by Asha Murlidhar, a teacher in charge.

Manager M.B. Puranik, Principal Pratibha Nemiraj, and Proffesor SUbrahmanya Rao were present on the dais, Dayananda Rai welcomed the gathering and student shifaa, proposed a vote of thanks, Dhanya conducted the proceedings.
