“ Leave the land to the farmers”, Farmers Gaurdian Foundation

18-02-09 On February 18, 2009 in front of the DC office a  protest against the land owners took place at 10.00am by the Origin Contract Farmers Gaurdian Foundation. The land of the olden days that have been occupied by the land owners must be given to the farmers, this was the main reason for the protest. The organization was formed since a year and had been fighting for the rights of the farmers. The protest was headed by Myaxim D’Silva. In the protest the farmers demanded their authority towards the land that have been occupied by the land owners. The member of the organization in his speech said that “ the protest was done earlier also, but no measures were taken. If the same thing continues again, Then the protest will be conducted in a larger scale against the government”.   

Dharmendra.K, Yahodara M.K, Vishwanatha Bolar, A.P.Gowri Shankar were present on the occasion.
