Dadi Jankiji to inaugurate India’s 10th largest mall ‘City Centre’

18.04.10 Mangalore : The chief of the Brahma Kumaris Dadi Jankiji will
inaugurate City Centre, the 10 largest mall in India and the second largest
mall in Karnataka at K S Rao Road in Mangalore on April 25, Sunday at 11
a.m.
Speaking at the press meet, S M Arshad, the managing director of Motisham
Complexes and the developer of the mall, said that the mall comprises over
5.4 sq ft and houses more than 170 national and international tenants. S M
Sawood, the executive director of Mohtisham, was present.

Mr. Arshad said that the project of Rs 115 crore includes Spar Hypermarket,
Westside, Lifestyle, Reliance Timeout, Reliance Trends, Reliance Digital,
Mom and Me, Sports XS, Reliance Jewels, Gili, Planet Sports, Hidesign, Lush,
and the Body Shop. A five-screen cinema operated by Cinepolis, the fourth
largest multiplex based in Mexico, will be the highlight of the mall, he
said.
The mall consists of seven levels of retail shopping space, five levels of
parking space for 800 four wheelers and 1000 two wheelers. There are eight
passenger lifts, 27 escalators, and five freight lifts, he added.
Dharmaraj, the CEO of Motisham, said that the air-conditioned mall has
continuous power supply. Moreover, the presence of fire-fighting machinery
as per the National Building Code has been installed in the mall.
