Bellary: 15 killed, 6 wounded in Karnataka road accident 

19-02-09 On February 19, 2009 in the morning  Fifteen people, including six women were killed and six injured when the van in which marriage party travelling rammed against a roadside tree at Venipura they here early today. Police sources told UNI all the victims belonged to a marriage party from Nidagundi village in Gadag district.Among the six injured, condition of two was serious and they were admitted to the VIMS hospital here. District Police Superintendent Seemanth Kumar Singh along with top police officials rushed to the spot to supervise the rescue operation.
