Noise pollution and free “Deafness Screening” Camp in KS Hegde Hospital.

19.06.10 Mangalore : Department of ENT and Department of speech and hearing  at the KS Hegde medical Academy in Deralakatte, organised a seminar on noise pollution and free “deafness screening” camp on Today June 19th , morning at the seminar Hall. Prof.(Dr) G. Srinikethan, Dean Academic, national institute of Technology, Surathkal, inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. After inaugurating the program he speaks about, the noise and its effects. Noise is unwanted sound, there are several ways of noise pollution like, DJ songs, Videos, constructions, crackers, transport etc. He express that noise is apart of civilization, Is technology is cause for noise pollution? Finally he told that people should change their attitude then only we can improve our city

There are number of doctors drivers were attained this program and they arranged the health check up for the drivers, free of cost.
