Diya Systems organizes Job fair at KPT

21.03.10 Mangalore  : The job fair was organized by Diya Systems in collaboration with District Employment Exchange at Karnataka Polytechnic College (KPT), Mangalore on March 21, Sunday. 

Speaking after inaugurating the fair, Krishna J Palemar, the district-in-charge minister, said that the efforts of companies such as Diya Systems is creating job opportunities for the local people unlike the  large companies which only creates problems for the local people, and not job opportunities.

He also said that, out of the 15,000 candidates who applied to the government for jobs, only 2,500 have been recruited and 4000 are under training. 

The CEO of Diya Systems, Dr V Ravichandran, said that the purpose of the job fair is to present job opportunities to the economically backward and rural youth.

Shri S D Basavaraju, employment officer of the District Employment Exchange; MLA Yogish Bhat; MLA U T Khader; MLC Capt Ganesh Karnik; Major B Vijay Kumar, principal of KPT; Prabhakar Sharma, B Nagaraj Shetty, the chairman of the Coastal Area of Development Authority, were also present on the occasion.
