Shipping exam conducted in KCCI as M22 exam centre

22.04.10 : Capt. John Prasad Menezes, a former chief of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), being a fellow of the London Institute of chartered shipbrokers (LICS), has bestowed a new service to the local shipping Industry by making KCCI as the M22 Exam Centre for LICS.

The Professional Qualifying Exams, with KNS Shetty, KCCI Manager as local centre Invigilator, were conducted at KCCI Centre from 19^th to 22^nd April recently. 17 candidates were registered to take 65 papers at the shipping exam, including 3 Master Mariners.

The next course on shipping in 6 subjects will commence by 1^st June, 2010 according to KCCI. The age of participating candidates has varied from 24 to 54 years.
