DC discuss issues concerning basic amenities

25.04.10 Mangalore : The issues concerning the basic necessities such as concerning agricultural development, industrial progress, women and children welfare were discussed at the meeting organized at Deputy Commissioner’s office on April 24, Saturday.

 Apart from it, the matter on basic amenities, cattle rearing, implementation of self employment programmes were also been discussed on the occasion.

In the meeting, Issues concerning Koraga Community and the facilities allocated in the past and future development of Koraga Community were talked. They also said that the central government released the amount of Rs 380 Lakhs and state government released the amount of Rs 109 Lakhs for the development of Koraga Community.

 Shivashankar, DK in-charge, B S Ramprasad, Secretary Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, DC V Ponnuraj, Dakshina Kannada, and other officers were present .
