Mumbai Blasts Suspect Captured in Bajpe

24.05.10 Mangalore : Abdul Samad (23) of Bhatkal, stated to be the Kingpin of Mumbai Terror blasts last year has been arrested in Bajpe airport of Mangalore on May 24 morning by the Mumbai Anti-Terrorist Squad of the Police. He is related to the notorious Riaz Bhatkal of several terrorist killings. Abdul is linked to the 26 November 2009 terror killings as its planner or director. He came to Mangalore from Dubai recently, it is said, and he has told the Police that he was involved in the Samad German Bakery explosions case. His relative Riaz Ahmed Bhatkal is the convener of  Indian Mujahideen, now banned in India. Riaz is linked to Pune bomb blasts, in which Abdul Samad was a collaborator of Riaz, who is now absconding and is probably in Gulf countries.

The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has caught a whole this time in Mangalore coast and in happy, since local police had no inkling on the silent movements of Mumbai ATS in DK district ! the suspect  was in a queue to clear his baggage after he reached Bajpe from Dubai, and was arrested by the Mumbai Police who were lying in wait for him. They have since taken him to Mumbai for further questioning on Pune and Mumbai blasts in 2009.
