Sambrama’ inaugurated to focus cultural values

26.03.10 : The 3 day’s cultural programme ‘Samskruthi Sambrama’ organized by
Karnataka Samskruthika Prathistana was inaugurated at Town Hall on March 25,
Thursday.
Sharanya, singer and Ananya, dancer inaugurated the event, while Harikrishna
Punaroor, former president, Kannada Sahitya Parishat presided over the
function.

Speaking on the occasion, IGP Gopal B Hosur, western range, said that the
job of a police official is always surrounded by tension and by attending
such kind of cultural programme, prevails tension to some extent.
He also said that, the atmosphere of the city gives a different mood at the
beginning to a person, but as the day’s passes away, one feel more
comfortable to the atmosphere, people, society and the culture rather than
other cities.
He also lauded the politicians of the city who support the police officials
in their work and make their work easy on revealing the truth.
The film artiste Sudharatna K S and a social worker Satish Bikampady were
felicitated for their contribution to the society on the occasion.

Ramdas Gowda S, KSPS, Commandant, N M Hussain, deputy commissioner, excise
department, Dr B K Ravindra, principal, SDM Law College, Dr Shanthi
Thailagam, assistant professor, NITK and Gangadhar Padubidri, president,
Karnataka Samskruthika Prathistana were present on the dais.
