MP, MLA flagged Air India Mangalore – Delhi flight service

28.03.10 Mangalore : The direct flight from Mangalore to New Delhi by Air India was launched by MLA Abhaychandra Jain and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel on March 28, Sunday. The politicians flagged off Air India Canadian Registered Jet (CRJ) - 700 to New Delhi in the presence of Airport Director  Abraham Peter.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagesh Shetty, Area Marketing Manager of Air India informed that the aircraft, IC 7613, took off from Delhi at 5:15 a.m. and arrived at Mangalore at 8:35 a.m. With a capacity of seating 74 passengers, this aircraft is the fastest in India and gives a noise-free travelling experience to the passenger with the airfare is Rs 4,800. 

IC 7613 will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. It will leave Delhi at 5:15 a.m. and will reach Mangalore at 8:35 a.m. It will take off again at 9:05 p.m. and will reach Delhi at 1:15 p.m. 

While IC 7611 will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. It will leave Delhi at 6:25 a.m. and will reach Mangalore at 10:55 a.m. It will take off again at 11:25 a.m. and will reach Delhi at 2:10 p.m.
