The state Beary Sahitya Academy organised Literary workshop today

28.04.10 Mangalore : The state Beary Sahitya Academy, with its main office in Mangalore, organised a workshop of Beary writers from 10 A.M to 5 P.M at Badria College, near Bunder, in the city. D.N. Ismail, Principal inaugurated the event. M.B. Abdul Rehman, who heads the Beary Academy, presided over the function. Chandrahas Rai, registrar and members of the Academy and A.K. Kukkila Journalist were present on the occasion.

Participants were asked, if they had been interested in creating or reading literature, whether they know how to write a poem or a short story or a brief piece (chutuku) in any literary form. They were asked if they were disheartened and needed helping hand, and were advised to attend the workshop. The response was fairly good.
