KPCC urged government to CBI probe Preetham’s missing case

29.03.10 Mangalore : District in charge minister Krishna J Palemar is responsible for Advocate Preetham Kumar missing. Hence the government should order CBI probe or the minister must temporarily resign from the post, said Ivan D’Souza, advocate and congress leader, speaking at the protest stage the by the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee in front of DC Office on March 29, Monday.

He also said that, the District Police have failed utterly in finding any clue in the Advocate Preetham Kumar missing case even after two months. Preetham Kumars love affair with Palemar's relation. Hence he alleged him to be involved in the case. He alleged that J. Koragappa, Ramachandra, Raviraj and Neeraj, close associates of Palemar, had tried to put a break on the investigation proceedings at the Police Station.

Preetham Kumar, who left his home after receiving a phone call on January 24 at 8.30 pm, did not return till date. Even the police do not have any clue whether he is alive or not. The police departments are not allowed to conduct investigation on the matter due to Palemar’s order, he urged.

Even after two months the truth has not been revealed and culprit must be punished even though he stands in any post. We will fight until we get justice, said MG Hegde, spokesperson, KPCC.

Vinay Kumar Sorake, Arun Coelho, Mamatha Gatty, DK Ashok and Kodijal Ibrahim were present.
