Air India Organises compensation counselling for families of Crash
Victims

29.05.10 Mangalore “The Air india has put the claim forms on website. The
form is just to explain the credentials and the relation to the deceased’,
said Sunil Kishan, executive director of Air India.
He was speaking to the media persons at the press meet held at The Ocean
Pearl. He also sai that the solicitor Hoshang Nanavati, Solicitor of Mulla &
Mulla along with six legal representatives who was present on the occasion
will verify the documents and ask for certain clarifications.

The Air India has given the interim compensation for the first time. At
present the amount is being released by Air India is not from the insurance.
Later Air India will claim the insurance amount from the insurance companies
, he added.
Death certificate is not required as yet to claim the interim compensation.
If the required documents furnished by the claimants are accurate, the
interim relief will be given as soon as possible. If claimants are still
deprived of their share even after these two days, the similar camp will be
conducted once again and will inform the families.
S Kundra, Andy D’Souza, A K Aggarwal, Chellam Prasad, and other officials of
Air India were present.
