Two Air Hostesses who are no more.

29.05.10 : Their names begin with an ‘S’ (Yes!) and T (Tea) they were young,
youthful and served Air
India. They were not sisters, but were air hostesses on the scene Dubai-
Mangalore flight Sujatha and Tejal died on the plane when it caught fire on
May 22. They served 158 passengers, with a smile, yes, and Teas, till the
end.
1.Tejal: 25- year old Tejal completed her training after an a academic
degree and worked for Air
India on flights abroad for only3 months. She was smart and attractive, and
she died inside the plane on fire, on a black Saturday. She was a Marathi
girl. She lived in Dombivli In Mumbai, on May 5, she celebrated her birthday
at home. He liked Hindi films and Indian food, she wrote on web to express
her feelings. Her another Bharthi does not know of her demise. Her father
Kamulkar, a private employee, is in Mangalore to claim Tejal’s body now,
Tejal K will not serve Tea again.
2.Sujatha: she had a home sickness and was unable to spend time with her
close relatives and so contemplated a resignation. But Fate intervened to
take her away from Air
India and her elders.
Sujatha’s S stands for service, which she did for years. Her family was in
Andheri, Mumbai. As an air hostess and a Marathi girl, she had endeared
herself to her friends. She was present on May 1 at her brother’s birthday
at home. She would have joined a call centre (night duty) for better
income, but that was not to be. The only daughter in a family of 2 elder and
one younger brother, she was well looked after till she joined duty and her
marriage was possible. The air crash created heart-burning moments to the
parents who have left for Mangalore since, to identify and claim her body
now. While Tejal was a B’com, Sujatha wasn a B’A in Philosophy, a Buddhist
at heart and hated farewells. She had a premonition of death, to bid goodbye
to her dreams, as per her blogs on internet. She liked Mangalore and got
transferred from
Kochi where she had earlier worked for Air India a 3 years ‘slint, after a
2years’ work at a call center in Mumbai. She was friendly and neighbours
feel her loss now.
