" BJP MLA Sampangi "
The Lokayukta Police in Karnataka has arrested the BJP MLA from
Kolar Gold Field, Y Sampangi for taking Rs. 5 lakh bribe from a criminal to
cover up a case relating to a land dispute.
BJP suspended him from the party on Thursday.
The MLA was caught red-handed by the police. Mr. Sampangi was

incident and asked the BJP to take moral responsibility for the conduct of its
own legislator, the BJP has maintained a silence over this issue.

initiated against the MLA after consulting senior leaders. Lokayukta Justice N
