CPIM conducted Political Conference at Town Hall

30.03.10 : The Communist Party of India Marxist (CPIM)  organized District level political conference to highlight the problems on Price hike and intensive problems of the citizens, at Town Hall, Mangalore on Tuesday, March 30.

Speaking on the occasion, J. Balakrishna Shetty said that at the present day citizens are facing the problem like price hike for almost all the basic facilities. Apart from it the Central Government is also trying to reduce the Ration Card facilities in the name of BPL and APL card. In order to raise our voice against the governmental authorities which has set all Ration Cards to Above Poverty Level (APL the CPIM will stage a mass agitation throughout the India, he said.

Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa assured the people to provide 35Kg of rice for 2 rupees and it is not fulfilled even to the present day.
