District level Specially abled Children's Meet 'Utsava 2010' held

31.03.10 : A District level meet 'Utsava 2010' for specially abled Childrens was organized by Lion Leslie D’Souza Convener Special Olympics Dist 324 D -5 in association with Lions Club Mangalore Velencia Dist 324 D -5 in Kadri Park premises, on Wednesday, March 31.

Ajith Kumar Maladi, Chairman, Kodialguthu Charitable Trust, inaugurated the one day meet and said that the foundation of lionism was laid with an intention of serving the people. Unlike the earlier days  today there are large number of social service centers taking initiative and spreading the information regarding such issues.

J K Rao, lauded the efforts of the people taking care of such children in his speech.

Children from Lions Special School Surathkal, St Agnes Special School and Prashanth Nivas Special school of Differently abled Children participated in the event.

Lion Leslie D’Souza welcomed the gathering and Lion Francis Pinto proposed vote of thanks.
