University College celebrated Talents Day

31.03.10 Mangalore : The University College celebrated its Talents Day at the  Auditorium at Hampankatta, Mangalore on March 31, Wednesday.

The event commenced with the prize distribution ceremony for the winners of various programs held earlier in February and March.

Participating as the chief guest on the occasion, Myme Ramdas,  who is also a Tulu singer, Music Composer, lyricist and Manager of V4 Channel said that the youths must get involved in extra-circular activities so that they can enhance their talents for future.

He also stated that talented persons display their talent  and utilise the upcoming. One must not grow only by imitating others and must maintain their own identity, he added.  

Dr. H R Lakshmi Narayan Bhat, Principal of the college, delivered the presidential address on the occasion.

Parvathi Appiah, President of Lalitha Kala Sangha, Ramakrishna, Director of Lalitha Kala Sangha also addressed the gathering.

Ramya, Secretary of Lalitha Kala Sangha, delivered the valedictory speech and Ramakrishna, Director, compered the programme.
