“Art of living” Guru Ravi Shankar explains the bullet shot of Sunday at his Ashram.

31.05.10 Bangalore : On Sunday evening, May 30, an assailant shot at the Art of Living teacher, Ravi Shankar Guruji who was getting in to his car after the sermons. The bullet was off the mark and hit a devotee on the leg instead.

Guruji warm-heartedly told his disciples and the eager pressmen that he had pardoned the unknown miscreant and if he had come to learn yoga, Guruji would teach him.

He made it clear that there was no attack on him, but police appear to have made it out. The bullet was not aimed at the Guruji, Ravishankar informed. He merely heard a sound like a cracker shot, and was not afraid of an attack, he added. But he wanted the police to get to the bottom of the incident.

I have no enemies, so no one can attack me. I have already forgotten the incident in my Ashram in front of devotees on Sunday. The devotee Vinay was hit by a bullet. An investigation is on as to who hit Vinay, was it his own father, has to be established, said the Art of Living teacher on Monday.
