Prem and Ramya in ‘Jothegaara’

22-08-08 Nenapirali Prem and Ramya, the Hit pair of Jothe Jotheyalli will be working again in a new film titled as ‘Jothegaara’. This will be produced by Ashwini Ram Prasad of Ashwini. The film will be launched on August 21 in Bangalore.

The debacle of Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe directed by Prem produced by the Ashwini Group was a set back to this corporate group which had earlier produced a block buster film like "Jogi' with Shivaraj Kumar in the lead. Ram Prasad had then decided to concentrate on his core business of audio marketing and had obtained the audio rights of films like "Gaja', "Galipata' which had a very good run in the audio market. Now, Ram Prasad is returning to film production activities again. Shikamani who has worked as an associate director for more than fifteen Tamil films will be making a debut through this Kannada film. Raghav is the cameraman. Sudeep Shetty will be introduced as a music director through this film.

"I was discussing story ideas with many young directors and it just happened that I came into contact with Shikamani. His narration was interesting. I zeroed on a subject which had lot of elements to attract the family and young audience. But this time I will be careful. I have learnt some lessons from the experiences of making Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe. I have decided to have checks and balances in my production activities. Now, I have made preparations to launch a new film only after getting a fully bound script
